13k!!!! drop

missed a blog yesterday so im already one behind.-_-!!. oh and btw, just in case u know right off the top of your head.,, how was my homework???..=p, gosh i havent done an assignment in years!!! (about4).., and even when i was in high school, like cmon, to have a "D" average, you obviously know i didnt do too many assignments even then right.., oh yea and 13k is where the djia (dow jones industrial average) closed a few days ago. its below that amount today, but the last time it was at 13k was right before the financial crisis in 08., so were at a 4 year high!!!=)., its crazy how just about 6 months ago, the dow was a little above 10k., mainly due to the u.s .downgrade id say., but hey, for bullish investors that saw opportunity in aug/sep when everyone else thought the world was collapsing , they recieved a nice 25% gain in a few months., for now at least.

TEN!!!!

YES!!!!!!!! Finally.... the ROCK HAS COME BACK!!!!!!...... to Academia..=p., just a spark of excitement,!, i finished the 10 Blogs!!!! and i completed the 4 questions!!!!., wow, feeels like this is my 6th blog of the day.,, im very happy that i did it, not too proud because this is just whats expected, not a huge accomplishment, but i would like to consider it a huge advancement which could be considered a huge accomplishment..! get it? i typed my homework today and tried my best to use the MLA FORMAT. Most likely i made mistakes considering that this is my first time using it after i first heard of its existence about 2 weeks ago, How funny, i was very nervous just by doing homework!!!, i urinated 3 times as i did it.=p took me about 3 hours with a lot of thought and an increased amount of effort as to prior assignments..=p, i hope i answered correctly and i hope it was not too much words than what was expected.! i feel my discipline is improving.! looking forward to tonight..

BOOKS!!!

8 down, 2 to go!!!, bookss..?? noo not books, Blog posts..=) Had my speech class today, I was happy/enthusisatic as i woke today being filled with the normal amount of energy, !! HAD A GOODNIGHT SLEEP LAST NIGHT. I'm finally relieved that i rented the sundance reader, And bought the natural speaker 7th edition! Total of $112!!! for 2 pretty thin paperback books., haha. I usually price books in my head just by looking at how thin or thick it is, and it's usually accurate, until i met college textbooks/ thin books!!!! im Developing good habits now when it comes to school and time management!., 1 more to go by 6 pm!.=)

It's a beautiful Sunday morning.,

Cold weather is nice., hot weather is not!., today is Sunday, My favorite day of the week. I Love coming to church to learn and worship. Hehe, last night was pretty hectic I'd say, my cousin slept over and Oscar walked home until about 3 am. It was funny how my Bro invited Oscar/CANZ to hang out ( my Bro and his wife and 3 year old son live at home still with me& parents, other sister in law just moved out on Thursday since she misses her fam and feels lonely since my Bro is still in jail, bout 3 yrs left). My Bro and cousin were hanging out at home after work yesterday when suddenly, a phone call from cans is received! My Bro predictably invited him over with the condition of him bringing the alcohol.! My bro's plan was to redeem his alcoholic beverages that Oscar had consumed on Thursday!, then to take off to theatres with his wife. I had plans to take off to eat dinner with my mom., so my Bro, in a very sneaky sense, tried to pull a fast one on me!., Haha, b4 I leave to eat with my mom, he makes a few remarks with my mom next to me," jay make sure to attend your guests." [since it is usually  me who have them over for haircuts and the hanging out/drinking obviously comes along, thus making me the one at fault for having them over in the first place!( I don't drink)],
That being said, I just found my brother so funny being the typical older Bro., luckily everyone was safe, no d.u.I.'s or violence in a Sense. Now , time to walk to temple:) oops i mean church :P.., HAVE AN AWESOME DAY PROFESSORA!

FRIDAY, SAT, SUNDAY

MANNNN, THIS BLOG THING CAN REALLY BACK TRACK ME!!! I GUESS I HAVE TO LOOK AT THIS BLOG/ ASSIGNMENT AS AN OBLIGATION RATHER THAN AN INDULGENCE:P WHAT I MEAN BY THAT IS THAT I HAVE TO DEVELOP MY WRITING HABITS ASAP!., thanks oberman for figuring out a way to make us get into a habit of writing., I have to change my view of this thing and considered it a REAL TASK, which I know it is, but I have to make my brain considered this as hw so I can ace it.! Typical hangout spot tonight at the shop ...! AGAIN!-_-., & THANKS FOR SETTING THIS BLOG UP AS AN assignments that we can finish during the week and not have to on the weekends, unless your slow like me..

Thirsty Thursday

Wowsers... Today was a pretty wild day for my clients at the shop.. It appears that vodka really creeps up on people out of nowhere!.-_-., the only dislike I have from my shop is the custom that people portray it as a hanging out spot.!., what's wrong with that right?

HAPPY HUMP DAY MATE..=P , I have decided to count the days as they go., this post is my 5th,. 5 down&5 to go.! so, thanks to my fabulous math skills,(i placed math 123b, but it should have been somewhere around math 240) i concluded that if i write one post a day, as i've already been doing, by monday of next week i should have completed this blogging assignment and have written a total of 10 blogs, thus meeting your standards.! I'm somewhat getting accustomed to my schedule as a college student so thats a big plus, really look forward to improving myself in any aspect of life thats available for improvement, pretty much means everywhere and anything. =p, but especially DISCIPLINE!!!!! I LACK MUCH OF IT=(

Im trying to keep up with 10, so technically this post is; SATURDAY

...=p, yesterdays post was fridays now today is saturday's.(But today is actually tuesday), hehe, im doing my best to keep up with your assignments cause i really want to ace!!!! all my classes..! thats my goal!., and i heard you say that we can accomplish any goaL we want,.. something like that you said!!! (we referring to the class during last weeks lecture i believe..),

 yesterday, monday, was fun.=)., had an appt with a potential client at 4 pm. IT WAS A VERY EXCITING APPT FOR ME.=) I presented him a plan for his retirement goals and its looking really good.=), he has an existing pension plan with CALSTRS*, so i think that might sound a little familiar to you.,=p. I was a bit nervous before the appt though because 1 of the products i presented, a variable annuity, is a product that i haven't "mastered" presenting yet. hehe, im very aware of its function since the material of an annuity is on the series 6 exam, a license that i already have, but the knowledge i have on the product is not as detailed as other products i offer.., thats all., but overall it was very exciting!!!
    oh and my haircut business, saturday was also kinda busy.,,. did omar, ivan, angus, Sergio C from church.=p, juanito, then cirk.
Got some sad news at about 2 am via cell phone, from a close friend/neighbor. He's A very Close friend of mine that helped alot while i was growing up,. He's About 37 yrs old, single guys, and hes very caring.., anyways , his aunt died and he wanted to speak to my mom at that time of the night., sounded like he was crying.=(.., Then Sunday Morning was Church time!!!., My Favorite.!!, ( i promise the more i do this/catch up, these things are going to be shorter!! so sorry again.-_-)

Every Friday is my day off from Office time and , now as of last week, school too.., but anywho, fridays is my haircut day!!!, that means i get to wake up without having to worry to shower or take off somewhere..=p, My only concern is how many missed calls/text messages do i have of peeps that are fiening for haircuts as if it is some type of drug, but come to think of it, its very common and no surprise for young folks being addicted to their focus/attention on how "WELL" they look, their appearance, masking it as if it were some type of drug, A very good drug!!! haha,. i enjoy saying, " calm down foolll!!!, your haircut can wait, its not that important. stop acting like a fiend". then i just go on to say im kidding and schedule an appointment at 12.30. If You are a bit confused Oberman, in case you forgot, I am a barber!!!., My shop is in the garage of my house; think of it as a real shop though, professional equipment (meaning about 6 different clipper machines including shavers), a chair that can rotate on its axis with a hydraulic pump for the super tall folks and super short men, a huge 70 inch mirror, cabinets, and even disinfectants, and other interesting barber stuff without the official state certification SO SHHHHHH...!!!! I also cut hair sat. afternoons after our meeting here at the office in the mornings. lets try to count how many people came this weekend, friday was as follows i think; B&j Galvez, Danny, cans/oscar, steve/chapparo, cuz Johny, David/panda, Bubba, Tio Meno, OscaR h., lenny, jonathan z, then Bruce at about 11 pm (an obvious fiend right, who gets a cut at 11 p.m.!!!), lol , bruce was trying to catch a date with a girl, hes about 30 yrs old living in long beach and down here in the valley & palmdale for partying.! ill post more in a bit!!, sorry for making your job longer..=p!!!

Wednesday Speech 101

Wednesday Morning was my first "assignment" for my speech class!!!!.., Any Guesses What it could have been?!!! A SPEECH!!!!
first 3 min speech describing WHO???? !! MEEE of course , so obvious and routinely for a speech class right?..
i mentioned it to my older bro that i had a speech, and he unsurprisingly described about 75% of the speech i Said, in his own words of course.. IT WAS VERY FUNNY HEARING HIM RECITE MY SPEECH...
My Professsor for speech, MS. LONG, allowed us to use one 5/8 card. I Used up only about 3 lines.,I found it Funny how many students filled the card with info about THEMSELVES, AS IF THEY FORGOT THEIR OWN LIFE/INTERESTS, but i completely understand their stage fright.., since, hey, i stayed up till 4am when class starts at 7.30 a.m. (i'd rather say because of excitement and not anxiety =p)

Non-Sequitur

Got THIS!!!!! I just arrived here to the office. Got an oil change at the Universal City Nissan Dealer, took my Add Slip for my English 101 class to the admissions office =)!!!..-_-(it was really cold waiting outside), then had a quick california roll at Sushi Park in NOHO I believe. All this was from 2.45-6 pm. On my way to the office after Sushi, I was listening to The Frank Pastore Show(TFPS).

    TFPS is the largest Christian talk Show in the U.S. His show this evening had Father Bob Spitzer (a catholic priest), discussing a major issue that is going on right now with the Catholic Church and the Obama Administration. The issue the Catholic Church is opposing is the plan that Obama made to have insurance companies for religious-affiliated charities and hospitals pay for contraception coverage for their employees. I have not been well-informed in this subject, but that is the main point of the opposition that i understood. However, the main point of this blog is not to inform of the problem The Church has, though it may seem to be..=p.., the real reason is due to a quote that father Spitzer said.

   He mentioned a counter-argument that a spokesperson from the administration blurted out. Frank asked Spitzer his opinion toward the remarks said by this person which sounded something like this; " i don't understand whats wrong with this plan/ why the church is upset since many catholic women take contraceptives themselves". Spitzer then went on with his opinion and classified that question/analogy as a "NON- SEQUITUR"..!!! I felt very proud of myself knowing what he meant by that mention of a non sequitur, rather than just ignore that word or possibly not even notice it as i do in most cases when I am unaware of a definition.  .!! I'm very excited of my decision to start with the endeavor of attending College due to the fact that I see immediate gain in knowledge, which was the main purpose of my decision!!.=p..
